Nidi, two pieces for piccolo were written in 1979 they are dedicated to Pierre-Yves Artaud and Roberto Fabbriciani. Here, as in my other solo works, my interest does not focus on the instrumental virtuosity (even if it is present in each of the works), but rather on detail (not penetrated by the composer) of linear writing and the improvised flexibility of transformation. The material - more a splinter than a fragment - is the sequence of three permuted tones (D, F, G flat), which can be found in the fifty-ninth measure of my earlier composition Lumen.
